Last version of Ubuntu does not work correctly

Asked by Fredi Panci

Actually I have installed Ubuntu 17.10, GNOME 3.26.2, 64 Bit, running on the system Intel® Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 V2 @ 3.10GHz × 4, Memory 4 GB, Graphic card GeForce 7600 GS/PCIe/SSE2.
Immediately after boot start I see some errors (That was not before), but the most serious problem is graphic display issue. On the login screen, I see a white background, blur and no fonts clear display. The system goes to be freezing for a while and than report the error.
On the first version of GNOME 3.24 everything was running smoothly.
Any kind of your help shall be much appreciated.
Best regards!

Are you using the open source driver or the proprietary driver for your Nvidia GPU

Thanks

Thank you for your respond and accept my apologies for my delay to reply you.
I have no experience on Ubuntu operation system., but what I can tell you is as following. I found some kind of drivers for NVIDIA on the software platform of Ubuntu. Installed that and it had a great impact on graphic display on the old version GNOME 3.24. Several days later after some automatic updates, I faced on this problem. The system crash, no good display and almost I can do nothing on Ubuntu when this problem occur. I tried to de-install NVIDIA drivers, but I still have the some problem as before, So I am so boring, and ready to abandon Ubuntu operation system, even I like it so much. If I am not able to work, on this system what do I need it ?!
Any kind of your help shall be more than appreciated.
Thank you !
