Have you boot into ubuntu live cd?

Boot to cd, and choose try ubuntu without changing your computer ...

And look at System - Administration - partition editor

or gparted ..

What ubuntu that you use?

Good luck

At startup of computer is possibility to acces BIOS - to acces it use key F1 or F2 or Del. It will start some "configuration tool" - here find something like "Boot" or "Boot priority" and set CD/DVD to first place.

i'm thinking you want to reinstall Windows so please simply boot your pc from Windows install cd and then install it...

Your issue is to get access to the bios configuration on your pc... and make your pc booting from the cd, you simply need to solve this isn't very difficult.

We have already answered to this, read above.., or please give us details about your BIOS... you can see them when the pc start.

Thank you

Wow, if you want to install windows xp with virtual box machine, you can't uninstall ubuntu, it because you 're running virtual box inside ubuntu ...

Just delete it, make sure you're run it from live cd, and not from hardisk ...

Just delete all of linux partition such as ext3 and swap .

after that, reboot ...

And put your windows cd, and install it ...

Please tell us If you get an error message ...

Good luck
