Logged onto the forum ? At the top of the page, right hand side - 2nd option from the right is 'settings' .
Is but one path; that I find the easier.

   Sir, I'm logged in. Let me tell you what is at the "top-righthand" of THIS page.

   At the very top is an icon, then my name and my "user name" in parenthesis. Next is the log-out. Directly underneath is is "Ask a Question" then below that "Edit a Question", then below that "subscribers". This is in Launchpad. Now in Ubuntu: upper right-hand corner... again icon, my name, my user name, log-out, below that is a box containing the following: CD mirrors-Archive mirrors-Personal Archives packages-Builds. I'm at a loss. Nothing you have offered is applicable??? I find this difficult to believe, but are we looking at 2 different "pages"? Well, I appreciate your offering to help. I'll keep "looking" around either at this site or a search engine. somewhere it has to be posted.

About which "Ubuntu forum" are you talking?

This ( https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/664717 ) is a question/answer area, but no forum.
And even here you can contact other users by clicking on their name and using the "Contact this user" link in the top right part of each user's Information page.

And if you are referring to https://ubuntuforums.org/ then you should ask there.
