Editing a luks partition

Asked by Leo Kerr

So i'm trying to edit my luks partition through gparted to make room for fedora but it says luks isn't supported yet or something. I know the key for it so do i just edit some of gparted files or install a new package for this?

Have you read:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ResizeEncryptedPartitions

You will need to do this from liveCD desktop if the partition you are resizing is the system partition.

If you want a quick try before you buy you can always install virtualbox and run the OS as a virtual system

Before you try and resize anything please run a last full backup in case of catastrophe (unless your data is worthless or easily replaced)

Did you resize it OK? No issues?
