freespire won't install or boot

I recently received a copy of freespire. I load it on two laptops but will not install on a dell. I tried to boot from the cd and the boot ends with a blinking cursor which allows you to type but nothig happens,How do I get freespire to go to windows

Ask on the freespire forum or else change to ubuntu.
