the latest update tonight @ around 8:00 pm (Philippine time) resulted to a problem

what is wrong with my system? the latest update tonight @ around 8:00 pm (Philippine time) made my computer go nuts. when i hover my cursor at the task bar it just crashes and blinks (the screen) and I cant shut down my computer. I also cant use the dash panel. I am running on 16.04 and i am on a unity environment. i used to have a problem where it took me 10 mins after booting before i get to the log in page but after the update, that problem is gone. then now i all the problems i have mentioned came in. Please help me with my problem. thanks

I am experiencing the same problem on a couple of systems, The answer to the command is:

I am experiencing this behavior on two machines, one at home and one at work. I am sometimes able to get the selection to work after several tries.
