Tabs not visible in O.O. spreadsheet

I cannot see any tabs at the bottom of any OO spreadsheet (worksheet). Cannot go back and forth between sheets.
What to do?

Abi,

I had already tried to show the sheet and it did not work.
I probably should have said that the scroll bar that moves the sheet
from left to right is not visible either.

I am still not able to see the worksheet tabs or horizontal scroll bar
at the bottom on anything in O.O. Spreadsheet, that includes imported
excel spreadsheets. I have tried the proposed fix with no luck. In
fact, when I go to show/hide sheet, both are 'grayed-out' as not
options.

I wonder if your OO application window is scaled and not Maximized. Try clicking the Maximize button (center button in the upper right of the application window) and see if the bottom of your spread sheet application appears.
