gparted won't start on 17.10 fresh installed

Right now I've installed Ubuntu 17.10 fresh from scratch. Tried to start gparted going to deal with other disks in the system. It asked me for the password (OK) but nothing happens than. Regards, Andreas

Make sure GPartEd is fully updated. If you run it using sudo from the terminal does it run OK?

Hi,
have a similar problem. For me, it workes when I login in Xorg environment.

But don't know how to solve it in Wayland environment.
