Hello !

In fact, if Ubuntu is not installed anymore on your computer and if you did a fresh install of WinXP on top of that, it is really unlikely that the problem comes from Ubuntu ... Did you check your hardware for failures ? Are you sure you installed the proper drivers for your card ? Did you install Windows on the right partition (first partition on first disk) ? Can you check that this partition is flagged as "boot" ? (you can do this using the Ubuntu liveCD and issuing 'fdisk -l' in a terminal)

Ubuntu did no changes to your hardware and the only interaction it could have with Windows was the MBR (Master Boot Record, where GRUB is installed), but if you did a fresh install of Windows, MBR has been reset by Windows ...

Hope this helps ... Don't hesitate to post again if problem persists ...

Regards,
Benoît
