Did you download a deb file? If so, where did you download it to and what is it's full filename please (Case sensitive)

Here is the steps to download and install Google Chrome on Ubuntu:

1. Head to Google Chrome website: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html

2. Click on "Download Chrome" button.

3. Select your download package, preferably select a .deb file (64 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu)).

4. Read the Google Chrome Terms of Service, and if you agree to it, click on "Accept and Install" button.

5. Wait till the download process complete.

6. Open Terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and head to the Downloads directory (or where ever the place your downloaded items is stored).

7. Run command: sudo dpkg -i <name of deb file to install>

8. Input password if requested, and follow the steps preceeding.
