Missing language packs

Asked by Michael Young

Some language packs seem to have been dropped between Trusty and Xenial, and after a few hours of googling I cannot figure out why. Is there some reason that language-pack-sw and ht and tg are no longer available?

Is there something better\newer that I should be looking at?

Michael

I suggest you contact the translation team. They may know what is going on

langpack with less than 5% coverage

similar for language-pack-ht

language-pack-tg is existing in current Ubuntu releases, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-pack-tg

How does one contact the translation team?

And the third one should have been language-pack-tl instead of tg.

I suggest that you read
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations
https://translations.launchpad.net/+groups/ubuntu-translators

And for completeness' sake: the comment for removing language-pack-tl is similar to the one for -sw
