Hello,

I have Ubuntu 16.04

while updating I received the fowllowing errors.

The root cause seems to be

Error! DKMS tree already contains: bcmwl-6.30.223.271+bdcom
You cannot add the same module/version combo more than once.

For diagostic purposes please provide the output of the commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
dpkg -l | grep bcmwl

I suggest that you try the following:

completely uninstall bcmwl-kernel-source
delete the directory /var/lib/dkms/bcmwl (if it still exists then)
install bcmwl-kernel-source

I'm not sure I can do this.

If I remember correctly, this is the wireless card. If I uninstall this program, I have no access to the internet
which means I cannot download or reinstall it.

My only access to anything is the internet as I do not have a hardwore connection.

Are thee any other ideas?
