Resizing windows to half screen size stopped working

Asked by Robert Friberg

Hi,

Resizing windows to half the screen size, by pulling the window to the side of the screen, is not working after booting up my computer this morning.
This is basic functionality that I will have problems living without. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Best regards
Robert

Does the system have a make and model?
Which release of Ubuntu are you using?
What desktop environment are you using?

Do the other plugins in the desktop environment work OK?

Hi,

I am quite fresh to Linux, and I do not know what is a plugin in the desktop environment and what is not.
As far as I can see the whole system is working fine, except for the resizing of windows.
I do get a error message at startup concerning openjdk. I believe this is some conflict with my media server (UMS).

If you install Ubuntu Tweak Tool then you can disable the windows snap plugin, then re-enable it.
May help
