Broadcom BCM43228 card - WIFI works fine but Bluetooth does not (Ubuntu 16.04)

- Broadcom BCM43228 card [14e4:4359] in a Dell Precision M4700
- Ubuntu 16.04
- Broadcom STA Wireless driver (Proprietary) - but tried others as well

WIFI works fine but Bluetooth can't be activated, sudo service bluetooth status gives me

"Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; enabled; vendor preset Active: inactive (dead)"

Any pointers/ hints would be highly appreciated

You likely need firmware that has to converted from windows driver files see

Tried this with various drivers but didn't help unfortunately. Any other ideas/ options somebody?
