cat <<EOF | sudo tee /etc/xdg/autostart/xhost.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Name=xhost
Comment=Fix graphical root applications
Exec="xhost +si:localuser:root"
Terminal=false
Type=Application
EOF

This exactly solved my problem :)

It did solve my problem initially, but after restarting my laptop the problem came back and the provided solution does not work any more. What should I do?
