FocalTechPS/2 Touchpad settings unavailable (settings for tapping, scrolling, movement, sensitivity)

Asked by Øystein Steffensen-Alværvik

On my Asus laptop, touchpad settings in Settingsmanager are almost all greyed out; the exceptions are 'Mouse click emulation' and some scrolling settings. The touchpad is working fine though.
This is in Kubuntu 17.10 latest daily with latest updates.

Does this simply mean that the Linux drivers for my touchpad do not support these settings?
