Upgrade to 17.10 broke the input devices

Asked by Parth on 2017-10-02

I upgraded my machine from Ubuntu 17.04 to 17.10 final beta and since then facing below issues.

 1. Keyboard
 - Keyboard shortcuts not working
 - Shift + arrow keys to multi-select not working
 - Keyboard not responding sometimes on many applications
 - Right click key on keyboard displays mouse pointer context menu instead of selected file context.

 2. Mouse: Experiencing a lag in movement.

 3. Lot of software are broken for example. TexMaker and VLC fail to launch and repeatedly have to force-quit.

 4. System freezes after waking from hibernation(it worked fine earlier) and few auto-logout(failed to figure out why).

Any help is appreciated.

I suggest you report a bug. Artful is not ready and not stable.
