trying the new beta and attempting to set it for the dual boot choice main being Ubuntu second Kubuntu i hit next and its been sitting for 2 hours - this is on the istall side buy side option

downloaded the both beta ubuntu and kubuntu -- trying to dual boot them - i installed ubuntu updated etc then booted from kubuntu disk - select install side buy side its been 3 hours and still waiting to go to next step....

You might want to verify your disk/iso:

Also, when you boot from the CD, there is a "Verify" option, it sounds like you have a bad/corrupt burn or ISO.
