printer driver installation

My os is ubuntu 3.13.0-129-generic.
I have printer 'Canon – Image class MF 3010'.

I have downloaded printer driver from the canon website and extracted to Desktop.

I have CUPS 1.7.2-0ubuntu 1.8 installed.

Driver location
/home/user/Desktop
linux-UFRII-drv-v340-uken.

I failed to install the printer by all means. Please help me by providing step by step commands for complete installation.

Yes, I got driver from the said site.
my problem is with the execution of the required commands properly.
