How do I load ubuntu

I have tried to load ubunto to run it from the disc but it will not load past the logo.

Hi Ron,

It's possible that the installation CD you burned was not properly downloaded or burned. Try burning another copy at a slower speed and also doublecheck that the ISO file you downloaded is not corrupt. Here's how to check: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM
