Getting an error while updating.

This is the error that I am always getting while updating from Update Manager:

W: Target Packages (main/binary-amd64/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2
W: Target Packages (main/binary-i386/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2
W: Target Packages (main/binary-all/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2
W: Target Translations (main/i18n/Translation-en_IN) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2
W: Target Translations (main/i18n/Translation-en) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2

For diagnostic purposes please provide the output that you get for the commands (to be executed in a terminal window)

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list
cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list

1. This is a question/answer area for Ubuntu only.
None of the "Ubuntu-based" operating systems like Linux Mint is supported here.

2. As a hint for your problem: You have to delete one of the two identical lines in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list

Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community in any way. It's support community is entirely separate from Ubuntu's. None of the "Ubuntu based" distributions are supported here.
