How to Connect Logitech K230 wireless keyboard with Ubuntu 16.04

Hi Team,

Recently i bought a new wireless keyboard logitech K230. it has USB receiver what connect to the laptop and works its plug n play but not for Ubuntu. i attached receiver and tried to connect with keyboard but nothing happened.

can you please help me how to connect with Ubuntu 16.04. I am new Ubuntu user.

Who told you to activate the PPA ppa:daniel.pavel/solaar?
This PPA does not have any software for Ubuntu xenial, and this leads to the error messages that you see.
The solar package for xenial is available in the standard Ubuntu repositories (in "universe"), and you do not need a PPA for that.

Remove the PPA ppa:daniel.pavel/solaar from your list of repositories and run the commands

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install solaar-gnome3
