Problem in installing utube video downoader

I am not able to successfully install any of u tube down loader such as minitube, utube-dl, clipgrab, freemake video downloader. I am a new Ubuntu user. I am using Ubuntu 16.10. I was easily installing these in Windows. Please help me.

Note 16.10 is EOL (end of Life). This means it is no longer supported. As you say you are a new user, I suggest you make a new install of 16.04 LTS. Other option, in install 17.04. Check on above site about each release EOL.

Try and install them in Windows 2000, you'll have just as much of an issue. I suggest you wipe the install off and do a clean install of Xenial (Ubuntu 16.04).
