can i use visual studio and sql server on ubuntu.

I am a devloper thats why i need that software in my laptop.i am new on ubuntu so i dont know anything about ubuntu.I want to know only that can i use Visual studio and Sql server on it.

There is mysql in Ubuntu which you can use as a SQL server

There is Visual Studio for Linux:

But there are plenty of other IDEs you can use.
