Please increase the resolution to linux to past 11520

Asked by Peter Wilcox

I have (6) 1080p monitors and I can't use them all like I can if I was in windows. Can you please increase it where the maximum resolution in Ubuntu is able to be larger than 11520?

It can be anything you like.

If the default setting doesn't allow it then you can go old skool and formulate an xorg.conf file.

Do you have a guide to modify that?

There are many online. Just have a search. It's a pretty old way to do it.
Does your system not report EDID?

My system does... But wish that Ubuntu would enable this since windows and mac can handle this very easily.

Can you help with this problem?
