Install hangs at different points no error message
I am trying to install 8.10 as a standalone OS on a clean hard drive and having problems installing. I am using the downloaded ISO and it checks out ok. It hangs up at different stages but I don't get any error messages. Sometimes the screen is black, other times it has strange colors on it. Sometimes it hangs when I am entering my info,(location name, password) and other times it I get to the point where is has installed 75% of the files. My thoughts are that this is a video card issue but I don't know how to get around it. Tried installing in Graphics safe mode but that didn't work. Tried onboard and PCI graphics cards but that doesn't help either.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
