I am unable to open docx files.

Although I am able to download docx files, when I attempt to open them they are still in a code of sorts. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your question.

Docx (Microsofts Office Open XML) isn't supported by ubuntu yet. So it's not that easy to talk openoffice into opening docx files.

All of these are fine and helpful. I also discovered that there is a free file conversion at www.zamzar.com
