installing easyteather in ubuntu 17.04

I,m tring to install easythther 0.8.7-1 i386.deb on lubuntu 17.04 and it doesn't work can you help

What happens when you try? I suggest you use the terminal so we can see what's going on.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; find $HOME | grep -i easy

What I can see from the .deb file available from http://www.mobile-stream.com/easytether/drivers.html

Depends: libbluetooth3 (>= 4.91), libc6 (>= 2.16), libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0), passwd
Conflicts: udev (>= 209)

It seems that this is installable only on Ubuntu Trusty, because all Ubuntu releases after Utopic have udev >=209.

I suggest that you ask the provider of that software whether it is possible to deliver a package that works with Ubuntu 16.04 and newer.
