dir or ls command to show page by page with pause key

Could you please let me know

ls or dir command to display page by page with pause key.

by directory only

by files only

i can't find that in man dir or man ls.

i hate -l switch. that will show permission r-r -w bla bla. and not clear.

i wanna use ls just to see all file and folder

Alphabetically sorted and page by page
