Utilisation de Openoffice .org version 3.0

J'utilise Windows et Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid sur le même ordinateur. Avec Windows j'ai téléchargé Openoffice .Org 3.0 que l'on dit compatible avec Microsoft office.
Intrepid fonctionne avec Ooo version 2.4 .
Ne serait-il pas possible que Ooo .3 téléchargé sous windows fonctionne sous Intrepid .
Si oui comment.

OpenOffice 2.4 EST compatible avec Microsoft Office, dans la version 3.0 il y a le support pour le format Microsoft office 2007, il n'y aura pas tant que ça de différences
