I am not able to install p4 vasp in ubuntu 14.04.

Please give step by step process for installation.
Please disclose the command to execute p4vasp after installing.

You should be able to install a version of p4vasp (0.3.29) packaged for Ubuntu with any of the package management tools (if you have the universe repository enabled).
Just search for it in Ubuntu-software, or use synaptic (if you have it installed), or use the command line

sudo apt-get install p4vasp

The command to start it AFAIK is "p4v".
