Ubuntu 16.04 unable to open sysprof profiler

The moment I open the Sysprof Profiler app and click start I got thus message

Ok, sysprof now produces some output.
Remark: The "GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID nn was not found ..." messages are caused by sloppiness in the program and can safely be ignored.

Is this the result that you expect from running sysprof, or what do you want to do with it?

In lubuntu I can use it as a replacement for uname -r to know my system easily such as the hwmonitor program in windows

You can get that sort of thing in command line:

sudo lshw | less
free -m
df -h

And so forth. The GUI is convenient but not really needed. Plus, if you use command line, you run the commands over SSH and gather information from remote systems easily
