My ubuntu 16.10 has been freezing up

My ubuntu 16.10 has been freezing up to where I have to do a hard boot.. when it reboots it keeps telling there is a problem need to send the report.. It asks me for a password for the administrator nothing as worked. I am new to this system I started having problems do to me not knowing the Ubuntu laptops I would like to know if I may have a BUG or something else, just today I have had to HARD BOOT this system 2 time... there are times it wont let me to my desktop plus The Icons are very large I don't mean the ones in the start bar I have some logs if anyone wants to see them....

Perhaps a display driver issue ?
Post back the output of terminal command:
sudo lshw -C display

only maybe presently

I did what you asked gong to turterminal command
:sudo lshw -C display and it is asking for a

Yes, type your password. You won't get any feedback as you type.

16.10 is end of life in July this year. You may want to upgrade to Zesty. Alternatively you could wipe the install off and do a clean install of Xenial. Xenial is LTS and supported til April 2021. You can restore your user data from your backups.
