Please provide more information about your system and the way it is connected to the internet.

What is the output of the following diagnostic commands (to be executed in a terminal window)

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo lshw -C network

How do you connect to the internet? Via WLAN, cable connection, mobile data stick, or ...?
Do you get no connection at all, or is there an initial connection that fails after a few minutes?
