*.exe creating itself in ubuntu

I've opened a pen drive of my friend containing movies after that .exe files are automatically creating itself in my ubuntu drive in every folder by the name of folder when i delete them they again come back... like in Pictures folder it is pictures.exe
How this virus activity is possible in ubuntu since in linux their is no threat of viruses?

Install a virus scanner like ClamAV and scan your system

Definitely this would have not happened in Ubuntu. Try deleting all files and check.

You said that .exe files are automatically creating itself in your ubuntu drive, are you sure that's ubuntu drive? or it's windows drive like ntfs, or fat32 ....

Are you have windows installed in your computer?
