Most youtube videos will not play on Ubuntu 16.04 power pc

Some youtube videos will play, some will not. The spinning symbol on the youtube screen keeps spinning forever but the video never starts. I ma using Firefox 47.0

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'
