Since using updated Jaunty release...alpha 4 base

I have lost the use of DVD drive. Upon insertion of any CD/DVD, I get many, many open windows along the panel "Starting File Manager" until I eject the disk and all then slowly close. If this is to be expected at this stage with Jaunty, then ok. However I have looked over the forums and nobody else seems to report such behaviour. To be honest I have been very fortunate with respect to hardware issues, not having any issues with previous versions: 7.10, 8.04 or 8.10

Jaunty is still in testing stage If you find any unwieldy behaviour then please open up a bug

I have managed to swap a CD drive in place of DVD drive and all is working now.
Should I file a bug re: DVD drive not working,or take it as a fault with my DVD rom
