hi!
had an uefi ubuntu 16.04 install
and miss my windows 8 loader now.
How can i restore the windows session in the boot menu?

I tried un update (ubuntu 14.04) in another partition. It recognized the windows8 loader but had not written the boot menu

3 partitions
ubuntu 14
ubuntu 16
windows 8 (is missing now)

tried updating with grub sudo update-grub - with no changes

try to see the version of grub and get grub-mkconfig

problem resolved!
