Use flex and bison. They're compatible to the old lex and yacc. Just install them via Add/Remove or Synaptic.

thank u for the information... but my problem is that i cant find a url to download these files... would be thankfull if anyone can get me a url to download these files

You don't need to go to an URL to install software in Ubuntu.
Check the instructions at http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/installingsoftware
