Mouse driver for Virtual Terminal

I remember back in the day there was a mouse driver for DOS. I was wondering if there was any way of using my mouse in a virtual terminal to select and uncut text.

Hi komputes,

I think gpm is what you want.
It provides a 'selection' mode, so that cut-and-paste with the mouse works on the console just as it does under X.
