you should check with the manufacturer to see if they offer a linux version, or you can see if its compatible with wine:

Also there are often native linux apps that are better than their Windows counter-parts. If something works on Mac then there is a good chance it will also work on Linux, the Mac OS was allegedly developed from a linux base!

Good luck and regards from

Ideally try setting up a proper dual-boot and try out what owrks before commiting yourself. These guidelines help you make a system that combines the best of both OS's making a system that is very much more robust, flexible and enjoyable than having either OS alone (and why not make it a triple boot with a MacOs too! lol)

As before, good luck and regards from

If you are still having trouble with this then please post it as a new question. Only the most recent questions tend to get looked at so posting/re-posting a question just before america arrives online after work/school gives the best chance of getting a good few answers - such is the nature of the internet.

If the problem has been resolved then please follow the link to the forum thread and mark it as Solved but please give us a clue how you did manage to solve it and also use the button under where you type stuff in rather than giving me karma credit points for just sending this note to you.

Apologies, good luck and many regards from
Tom :)
