how do I get a money ledger spreadsheet from ubuntu?

Do you have an example money ledger file or link you could share with us? I am curious about what you mean by 'money ledger spreadsheet'. Thanks!

sudo apt-get install sql-ledger

Alternatively go up to the top taskbar and click on

System - Administration - Synaptic Package Manager

It asks for your normal user password, not your SuperUser/Root one. Then use either search tool. Probably best is to use the "Search" button as it looks through descriptions as well as titles. Anything already installed has a green splodge beside it. To install something new just right-click and select "install" and then click on the "Apply" button
