sshd installed by default on servers?

Asked by Michael Heimann

what you’re trying to achieve?

sshd should be installed by default - at least on server editions.

what steps you take?

Every time I install servers (I'm an IT guy, so this happens quite freuently ;) ), first thing on ubuntu is apt-get install ssh.

what happens

I get a server to what I can connect remotely - like it should be with every server.

what you think should happen instead

not having the possibility to connect remotely to a server via ssh is wrong. So this should be installed on every server - always.
