Wireless Connection Problem

Asked by Steven

I just installed Ubuntu 7.04 and currently I am running it off of an ISO on a CD. I can get an internet connection through a wired ethernet connection, but I cannot get it on my wireless modem (Linksys 2.4ghz wireless-G). If this is because I am running it off of a CD, then I'll go ahead and install it, but I think I should be able to connect wireless as well. My laptop is a HP pavilion ze5500, with a wireless card built in.

I don't think that will work, because my card is built into the computer, there was no CD or anything along with it.

I received this message after running that line:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package bcm43xx-fwcutter

Remember that I am running Ubuntu off of a CD, and it is not installed yet if that has something to do with it.

Thanks, Massimo!
