I guess here you mean the GNU locate utility?

There are several front-end you can choose from. You can locate (pun intended) them via Synaptic (or whatever it is that Xfce uses) by searching for the "locate" string.
There are others which are unfortunately not in our repositories, for instance xlocate (http://www.migo.info/xlocate/readme_en.php).
