having trouble installing Beryl

Asked by Itachi

I've added the repositories:
deb http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org dapper main
deb-src http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org dapper main

when i apt-get update it gives me the following problems:
Failed to fetch http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org/dists/dapper/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found [IP: 208.113.193.9 80]
Failed to fetch http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org/dists/dapper/main/source/Sources.gz 404 Not Found [IP: 208.113.193.9 80]
Reading package lists... Done
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

is there anything that can be done with this or is it something that is server side?

thank you for considering this question

from the website:

The following distribution releases are available
edgy
Ubuntu Edgy Eft repository
feisty
Ubuntu Feisty Fawn repository for beryl

doesn't look like dapper is supported any longer. You can usually check the validity of the repos by going to the main website, in this case http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org
