win-xp and ubuntu

sir/madam,i m using both win xp and ubuntu in my pc. but win-xp os installed first.due to some pblm i format win-xp after that the option to select the os on restart up did't show but ubuntu is still there.i want to know the solution of this pblm.plz help me for this i'll we highly obeliged to you.
