Alacarte hangs on command browser

Alacarte menu editor hangs when I try to add another entry.
To reproduce:
1. Start alacarte
2. Choose a category
3. Choose File->New entry
4. Browse for a command.
Now I should be able to browse for a file, but I can't. Alacarte just hangs and I have to shut it down.

Tested on Dapper Drake Flight 5.
