how do i uninstall ubuntu 8.10 easily

i have serious problems trying to run windows xp and ubunto 8.10 using an external drive i have got to uninstall ubunto first please help please help please help

You should ask under project Ubuntu to get an answer. Without being an expert in this area, you should probably provide more detailed information like e.g. answering the following questions

1. My machine has x disks. y internal ones and z external ones. The external is a USB drive model abc. (hardware configuration)

2. Currently I have installed a, b, and c. Blabla works but blibla doesn't. (software configaration)

3. I do 1. this and 2. that and 3. this (What you do)

4. I get error message ghj (what happens)

5. zxy doesn't work. I think it should do rst. (what you expected to happen)

Can you help with this problem?
