OpenOffice.org Spreadsheet freezes while working

OpenOffice.org Spreadsheet froze, I could not close it by clicking but to force shut down ,
furthermore, it worked much slower than Office 2007 and part of the content of sheet disappeared occasionally.
what is the problem?

I am using Feisty Fawn on my ASUS F3Jc laptop,
Duo T2250 1.73G
1.5GB RAM
nVidia GEFORCE GO 7300 (128MB)
100G SATA HDD

It's very strange situation, because i have Laptop with Turion TL-50 1,61 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB HDD and Geforce 7300 512 MB. I have recently intalled OpenOffice on it. It works perfectly. The fastes office I have ever seen.I advise you to reinstall OpenOffice and try again with Spreadsheet. There is no other way.

I just opened a 3.5 MB spreadsheet, and it took two minutes to finish, is it normal?

No it's not normal. Usually it takes 5 seconds.
